An insight on us

Safe Haven Animal Rescue is a small non-profit organization who run from a group of volunteers. We started in 2017 just rescuing horses which then went onto chickens and a couple of pigs. In 2017 we said if we managed to have a positive impact in atleast 1 animals life a month we would be happy. Now five years later we have saved thousands of life's...

We now help all domesticated animals including cats and dogs. Unfortunately we do not have the experience to help with wildlife.

A few of our stories

I am one of the founders of Safe Haven and started the rescue alongside my mum in 2017. Since then we have saved so many lives and seeing the animals now settled in their forever homes is why I go through so much heartache to see the happy endings.

My names eddie and I'm one of the pigs here at safe haven. I'm a bit of a cheeky pig and like to try and escape from time to time. Before I came to safe haven I was very overweight as I was only fed bread. Now I'm starting to lose my chubbiness and feeling much better. I love all the veggies I now get.

I came into safe haven with my 4 babies. They were my sixth litter of kittens at only 2 and 1/2 years old. We all had fleas and worms when we first came in but thankfully me and all my babies are happy and healthy now. I will be spayed when my kittens are weaned and rehomed. I cant wait for my future!
